"Phishing” is a form of Internet fraud aiming to steal valuable information, such as credit cards, social security numbers, User IDs and passwords. A fake website is created similar to one of a legitimate organization, typically a financial institution such as a bank or insurance company. This article discusses some of the risks and myths behind Phishing sites.

Online Banking uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your personal information, such as User IDs, passwords and account information over the Internet. But how does a browser know when or when not to encrypt data? This document aims to explain some of the mystery behind the common login form.
